Late June through August is the prime window, when Lake Winnipeg water temperatures warm up and beach weather is most reliable. July tends to bring the biggest crowds and fullest parking lots, so early July weekdays and late August offer a better balance of warm water and quieter conditions. Shoulder visits in June and September are pleasant for walking the beach and birdwatching, though swimming is cooler and some services may be reduced. The park is not a winter destination for RV travelers.

Patricia Beach offers a long stretch of fine white sand and shallow, gradually deepening water on the south shore of Lake Winnipeg. The gentle slope and warm summer water make it suitable for families with young children.
Low vegetated dunes back the beach and create informal walking routes along the shore. Stick to established paths to protect fragile dune grasses.
The wetlands and shoreline around Patricia Beach attract shorebirds, waterfowl, and migratory species in spring and late summer. Bring binoculars and expect mosquitoes near the marsh.
The park has picnic tables and open grassy areas near the beach parking lot. It is a convenient lunch stop for RV travelers touring the Lake Winnipeg east shore.
Calm morning conditions on Lake Winnipeg can be good for flatwater paddling from the beach. Winds can pick up quickly in the afternoon, so check conditions before heading out.
Grand Beach is a short drive north and offers additional sand beach, trails, and an overnight campground. It pairs well with a Patricia Beach day visit for RV travelers basing in the area.
We enjoyed our experience. Lots of room. The grandkids had so much fun camping.

Really great experience. Owner was very helpful, set everything up, and took the time to answer any questions we had as first time RV renters as well as made themselves available for any questions or concerns during our stay. RV was clean and had the essentials and a good amount of space for our family. We have no complaints and would use this RV again!

We enjoyed the camper very much and had a great experience with Haney. The camper was exactly like described, there were many extras that helped make the camping experience better and set up and take down were really well done and perfectly on time !

The best experience with the host. The great camper, or has everything we needed for the trip. We really appreciate the experience.

Patricia Beach Provincial Park, MB, Canada
From Winnipeg, the park is about 80 to 90 kilometres northeast, roughly a one hour and fifteen minute drive via Highway 59 and Provincial Road 319. From Selkirk it is approximately 50 kilometres, about 45 minutes. Roads are paved and generally RV friendly with no major mountain grades or tunnels, but the final access road is narrower and the day-use parking lot can be tight for large motorhomes and trailers on peak summer weekends. The nearest major airport for fly-and-rent trips is Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG).
