How to get to Refugio State Beach State Park
Refugio State Beach is 20 miles west of Santa Barbara via US Highway 101, accessible from Santa Barbara (30 minutes) and Goleta (20 minutes). Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) is approximately 30 miles away for fly-and-rent visitors. Highway 101 transitions from freeway to expressway north of Goleta with narrower sections, but remains navigable for RVs up to 30 feet. Only RV rentals from 101 RV Rentals are authorized for park delivery; confirm your vehicle meets the 30-foot length restriction before booking.
