Horse enthusiasts can explore a 4.5-mile dedicated horse trail through the park, plus a 10-mile loop around the base of the butte. These scenic desert routes traverse Joshua tree woodland and open Mojave habitat suitable for riders of various skill levels. parks.ca.gov/SaddlebackButte
The park's native desert species include coyotes, kit foxes, desert tortoises, jack rabbits, and various lizards and snakes. Spring wildflower blooms and Joshua tree ecology provide excellent opportunities for nature photography and wildlife observation. parks.ca.gov/SaddlebackButte

This RV is exactly as advertised. It was easy to drive and handles well. The hosts are very friendly and walked me through all the features. Ours was a quick 3 day weekend getaway. I look forward to renting again for a longer more relaxing venture in this RV.
