Salt Point State Park, CA, United States
Salt Point State Park is located off Highway 1 near Jenner, approximately 90 miles north of San Francisco (2.5 hours drive). The nearest towns are Jenner (20 miles south) and Gualala (20 miles north), though services are limited. RVs must be no longer than 31 feet (trailers) or 36 feet (motorhomes); narrow winding roads with hairpin turns and steep grades make larger vehicles difficult to navigate. San Francisco International Airport is the nearest major airport, approximately 120 miles away.
April and May offer ideal conditions with spring wildflowers and moderate crowds. June through September deliver warm weather and calm seas for water activities, though expect peak visitation and coastal fog. October through November bring clear skies and mild temperatures, ideal for photography and hiking. Winter months are quiet but bring heavy rainfall and challenging driving conditions on Highway 1.
