The drive from San Bernardino takes about 34 minutes, and from Los Angeles approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Visit between May and September for warm weather and water recreation, with June through August offering the warmest temperatures. May, early June, and September are ideal for avoiding peak summer crowds while still enjoying pleasant weather and all facilities. Spring and fall provide excellent hiking conditions with comfortable temperatures and moderate visitation. First time renting an rv, truly improved the camping experience. Host was amazing and RV was in great condition. Had more functional space than expected. Appreciated the kitchen including staples made meals much simpler. Exterior kitchen with functional sink was an unexpected bonus.
