The bay offers excellent fishing for northern pike, smallmouth bass, walleye, and muskie in clear sheltered waters. Both shoreline and boat fishing opportunities are available.
The natural sand beach features a gradual entry and buoyed swimming area, ideal for cooling off during summer months. Water temperatures reach approximately 20°C by late August.
Two on-site boat launches provide direct access to Georgian Bay for power boating and exploration of the surrounding 30,000 Islands region.
The area hosts diverse bird species including common loons, great blue herons, caspian terns, pileated woodpeckers, and spotted sandpipers. A birding checklist is available at the park entrance.
Allan and Melissa were great to deal with. Allan took time to explain everything about the trailer and was very responsive to all communication.
