This 2.2-kilometer easy hiking trail offers scenic overlooks of Long Point Bay from the park's bluff landscape. The trail begins near the park office and winds through treed areas with good privacy. Excellent for short family walks or morning hikes. ontarioparks.ca/park/turkeypoint/activities
A 4-kilometer moderate-difficulty loop through the Fin & Feather Campground area and historic Normandale Fish Hatchery explores the park's natural and cultural heritage. Hikers traverse the old hatchery pond and the park's northern boundary. This 1-kilometer easy trail showcases restored oak and pine forest habitat created through controlled burns to maintain natural forest cover. A two-kilometer-long sandy beach on Lake Erie's Long Point Bay offers shallow, buoyed swimming areas ideal for families and RV campers. The beach features areas for sunbathing, wading, and direct water access. Water clarity and sand quality make it one of the region's popular beach destinations.
Calm waters of Long Point Bay provide excellent conditions for kayaking and canoeing directly from the park's beach. Nearby rental operators offer canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards for day trips. The shallow, protected bay is suitable for paddlers of all experience levels.
Turkey Point Provincial Park features a unique nine-hole public golf course operated under contract with Ontario Parks. The course offers play for all skill levels amid the park's natural landscape. The park's trails and campground roads provide mountain biking opportunities to explore the 315-hectare landscape. Biking is a popular way for RV campers to cover more ground and access different areas of the park. Terrain ranges from easy campground routes to more challenging trail sections.
Long Point Bay offers fishing opportunities for bass, pike, and other species accessible directly from the park's shoreline and nearby waters. RV campers can fish from the beach or hire guided charters for deeper-water fishing. Fishing is available throughout the park's operating season.

Turkey Point Provincial Park, ON, Canada
Turkey Point is located in Norfolk County, Ontario, approximately 22 kilometers northeast of Simcoe, a 19-minute drive, and 63 kilometers southeast of Brantford. The park entrance is accessed via Turkey Point Road, a well-maintained two-lane highway kept clear year-round. RV travelers should note that the park accommodates vehicles up to 32 feet in length. Larger RVs may experience tight maneuvering in some campground areas. The nearest commercial airport is Hamilton International Airport, approximately 80 kilometers away.
