Murphys Point Provincial Park is a 1,238-hectare natural environment park located near Perth in Eastern Ontario, situated along the shores of Big Rideau Lake — part of the historic Rideau Waterway. The park's diverse landscape of forest, wetland, old fields, and three interconnected lakes makes it a standout destination for outdoor enthusiasts and RV travellers alike. With 174 campsites including electrical hookups, 30 RV pull-through sites, water hookups, and full amenity facilities including showers, laundry, and a dump station, it offers a comfortable base for exploring the region. On-site amenities also include picnic tables, fire grates [FLAGGED FOR HUMAN REVIEW], grills, a playground, and comfort stations. The park's crown jewel is the Silver Queen Mine, an early 1900s mica mine offering guided tours and interpretive programs from late June through Labour Day. Outdoor activities abound with swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and boating on Big Rideau Lake, plus hiking and biking trails through scenic landscapes. The park also operates in winter for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Canoe and kayak rentals, a boat launch, and a park store add to the convenience. Murphys Point is an ideal four-season destination for families and nature lovers visiting the Perth area of Ontario's Rideau Lakes region.

My daughter and I had the best week in Harvie’s trailer. We were so fortunate to have an electrical hook up at our camp site, so Harvie’s trailer was pure luxury for us! The big bed was VERY cozy! Great mattress! Everything worked great! It was clean and well-appointed. Harvie was great with communication and was available when I had questions. He set everything up and took everything away when we were done. I highly recommend 😊
