Campgrounds and RV parks near Minto-Odanah, MB

Minto-Odanah is a rural municipality in Manitoba's Parkland region, wrapped around the town of Minnedosa on the Little Saskatchewan River. The area sits in southwestern Manitoba's aspen parkland, roughly a half-hour drive from Riding Mountain National Park, a protected area of nearly 3,000 square kilometres that combines grasslands, upland boreal, and eastern deciduous forests. It is a practical base for RV travellers exploring the Westman region between Brandon and the escarpment. Closest to town, Minnedosa Beach Campground sits on the shores of Lake Minnedosa, with beaches, scenic walks, ball diamonds, and a concession stand among the facilities. Meadowlark Campground and Sporty's RV Park and Restaurant/Pizzeria offer additional serviced options within short driving range, while Onanole RV Park and Campground sits just outside Riding Mountain's south entrance near Wasagaming. For a provincial-park experience, Rivers Provincial Park lies about a half-hour southwest on Lake Wahtopanah, a reservoir that was created by damming the Little Saskatchewan River.

Rivers Provincial Park is booked through the Manitoba Parks Reservation Service at manitobaparks.com or by phone at 1-888-482-2267. Western-region campgrounds including Rivers open for reservations partway through a staggered launch week in mid-April. Long weekends require a two-night minimum stay. Wasagaming Campground books through the Parks Canada Reservation Service, which opens in January for the coming summer, and a valid national park entry pass is required in addition to the camping permit. Minnedosa Beach Campground takes nightly bookings through the Let's Camp platform, with in-person and phone booking also available through the campground office. Private parks such as Sporty's RV Park and Restaurant/Pizzeria, Meadowlark Campground, and Onanole RV Park and Campground book directly with the operator.
