Campgrounds and RV parks near Drummond, NB

Drummond sits in rolling farmland in Victoria County, northwestern New Brunswick, roughly five kilometres southeast of Grand Falls. On 1 January 2023, Drummond amalgamated with the town of Grand Falls, though the community name remains in official use. Most services, groceries, fuel and attractions are a short drive up Route 105 or the Trans-Canada Highway. The area's headline feature is the Saint John River and the waterfall created by a series of rock ledges over which the river drops 23 metres. RV travellers typically base themselves at one of a handful of nearby parks. Eagle Falls Campground sits on Route 105 along the Saint John River in Drummond itself, Falls and Gorge Camping Chutes and Gorge is close to the gorge in Grand Falls, and Mulherins Campground is a family-run park in the Grand Falls region. For those willing to drive further, Camping Paradis De La Ptite Montagne is a family-oriented park in the area, and Plaster Rock Tourist Park is roughly a half-hour southeast along the Tobique River.

Reservations at private parks in this area are handled directly by each campground rather than through a single provincial system. Eagle Falls Campground takes bookings through Campspot and its own website. Mulherins Campground, Falls and Gorge Camping Chutes and Gorge, Camping Paradis De La Ptite Montagne, and Plaster Rock Tourist Park each use their own websites or phone lines. Confirm site length, hookup type, and pet policy at the time of booking. New Brunswick provincial parks use the province's parcsnbparks.ca reservation system, which typically opens bookings in late winter for the coming season. For summer weekends, reserve as early as possible; midweek availability is generally easier. Cell coverage can be spotty on secondary roads outside Grand Falls, so a printed confirmation is useful.
