Campgrounds and RV parks near Perth, NB

Perth-Andover sits in the upper Saint John River valley in western New Brunswick, roughly halfway between Fredericton and Edmundston along the Trans-Canada Highway. The village is a practical base for RV travellers heading to Mount Carleton Provincial Park, the Tobique River, or Grand Falls Gorge, and it is a common overnight stop for rigs moving between Quebec and the Maritimes. Campgrounds in the immediate area are small, privately run river-valley parks rather than large resort operations. River Country Campground sits about 20 km south of Perth-Andover on Highway 2, with river-facing sites, cabins, and a mix of full and partial hookups. Mulherins Campground and Arndts Aroostook River Lodge and Campground round out the closest options, while Plaster Rock Tourist Park lies inland along Route 108 toward the Tobique. Most sites in the area cater to RVs and travel trailers with electric or full-service hookups, and the region is quieter and less booked than coastal New Brunswick parks.

Private campgrounds near Perth-Andover, including River Country Campground, Mulherins Campground, Arndts Aroostook River Lodge and Campground, Plaster Rock Tourist Park, and Eagle Falls Campground, are booked directly by phone or through each operator's own website. There is no single regional reservation system for privately operated parks. For provincial park sites, New Brunswick uses a centralized Parks NB reservation system at reservations.parcsnbparks.ca. Nightly camping reservations for all New Brunswick provincial parks open on a single launch date each winter at 9 a.m. AST, and a non-refundable reservation fee applies to each campsite reservation. Some sites at Mount Carleton and other provincial parks remain first-come, first-served, but availability is not reliable on summer weekends.
