Campgrounds and RV parks near Saint-André, NB

Saint-André is a community in Saint-André Parish, Madawaska County, in northwestern New Brunswick. On January 1, 2023, the former rural community of Saint-André was amalgamated with Drummond and the town of Grand Falls to form the enlarged town of Grand Falls along the Saint John River. RV travellers typically use it as a quiet base north of the Grand Falls gorge, with easy access to Trans-Canada Highway 2 and the Maine border crossing at Saint-Léonard. Campgrounds in the immediate area range from municipal parks to private family operations. Falls and Gorge Camping Chutes and Gorge sits near the cliff in downtown Grand Falls, close to the falls and gorge lookouts. Camping Paradis De La Ptite Montagne offers cottage and camping options near Paradise Mountain in Saint-André, while Eagle Falls Campground and Mulherins Campground handle larger RVs. Further south along the Saint John Valley, Plaster Rock Tourist Park serves travellers heading toward Mount Carleton Provincial Park, New Brunswick's largest wilderness park and home to the highest point in the Maritimes.

Private campgrounds in the Saint-André and Grand Falls area handle their own reservations by phone, email, or website. Falls and Gorge Camping Chutes and Gorge is associated with the town of Grand Falls and can be booked through the municipal tourism office. Camping Paradis De La Ptite Montagne, Eagle Falls Campground, Mulherins Campground, and Plaster Rock Tourist Park each take direct bookings and often require a deposit for holiday weekends. New Brunswick provincial park sites, including Mount Carleton, are reserved through the province's central system at parcsnbparks.ca. Nightly reservations for the summer season typically open in early February, with a separate window for seasonal sites in mid-January. For July and August weekends, book serviced RV sites four to eight weeks ahead. Shoulder-season weekdays in June and September are usually available on shorter notice.
