Campgrounds and RV parks near Arundel, QC

Arundel sits in the Laurentides region of Quebec, west of Mont-Tremblant and roughly 90 minutes north of Montreal. The village is surrounded by forested hills, rivers, and lakes that anchor the area's camping options. RV travellers use Arundel as a quieter base for trips into Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, Quebec's oldest provincial park, which spans 1,510 square kilometres and contains six great rivers, around 400 lakes and streams, 40 mammal species, and a network of trails that includes over 82 km of backpacking routes. Nearby private campgrounds round out the options. Camping De La Diable sits along the Diable River close to the national park's main entrance, Camping Parc La Conception is set on a lake in La Conception, and Camping La Montagne Dargent lies near La Minerve with access to hiking and waterfalls. Domaine Desjardins and Camping Du Domaine Lausanne offer additional lakeside and wooded sites in the surrounding Laurentian countryside. Together they cover serviced RV pads, rustic tent sites, and ready-to-camp units suited to families.

Sites inside Parc national du Mont-Tremblant are managed by Sépaq, the Quebec parks agency. Bookings for the upcoming summer season in Quebec's national parks open in early November of the prior year, typically at 8 a.m. Eastern, and popular waterfront sites can sell out within hours. Reservations can also be placed by phone at 1-800-665-6527. A separate park access fee applies on top of camping rates. Sépaq strongly recommends purchasing the right of access online before a visit or acquiring an annual pass, which can be done up to 30 days before arrival. Private campgrounds such as Camping De La Diable, Camping Parc La Conception, Camping La Montagne Dargent, Domaine Desjardins, and Camping Du Domaine Lausanne take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone, with deposits typically required at booking.
