Campgrounds and RV parks near Lac-Supérieur, QC

Lac-Supérieur sits at the doorstep of Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, the oldest national park in Quebec and the main draw for RV travellers in this corner of the Laurentians. The park spans roughly 1,510 square kilometres of protected forest, lakes, and rivers, and is managed by Sépaq, the provincial parks agency. Most serviced and semi-serviced sites for RVs are clustered in the Diable sector, accessed via Chemin du Lac-Supérieur. Lac Chat - Mont Tremblant Provincial Park and Lac MonroeWest - Mont Tremblant fall within this sector, with the Lac Chat area offering around 85 two-service sites that accommodate most rig sizes. Private campgrounds round out the area: Domaine Desjardins, Camping Du Domaine Lausanne, and Camping De La Diable provide additional options outside the park gates, useful when park sites are full or when travellers want hookups not offered in rustic sectors. The village sits roughly 120 kilometres north of Montreal.

Sites inside Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, including Lac Chat - Mont Tremblant Provincial Park and Lac MonroeWest - Mont Tremblant, are reserved through Sépaq at sepaq.com or by phone at 1-800-665-6527. Summer reservations open in early November of the preceding year on staggered time slots, and a virtual waiting room assigns a random queue position to users who arrive shortly before the opening time. After the launch, bookings continue on a first-come, first-served basis. Popular waterfront and serviced sites for July and August often fill within hours of opening, so booking well in advance is recommended. Private campgrounds nearby, including Domaine Desjardins, Camping Du Domaine Lausanne, and Camping De La Diable, take reservations directly and typically have shorter lead times. A separate park access permit is required in addition to the campsite reservation.
