L'Isle-Verte is a small municipality on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec's Bas-Saint-Laurent region, within the Rivière-du-Loup RCM. The village shares its name with Île Verte, a nearby island reached by a seasonal ferry, though the island itself sits outside the municipality's boundaries. The area is known for its salt-marsh lamb and a protected bird sanctuary along the river, and it sits within easy driving range of Parc côtier Kiskotuk, Parc national du Bic, and the whale-watching coast on the opposite shore. RV travellers use L'Isle-Verte as a base for exploring both shores of the lower St. Lawrence.
