Messines is a small municipality in Quebec's Outaouais region, on the eastern shore of Blue Sea Lake along Route 105 between Gracefield and Maniwaki. It sits within an easy drive of two major public-land camping destinations: Réserve faunique La Vérendrye to the north and Gatineau Park to the south, plus several lakeside private and municipal campgrounds in the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau.
