Campgrounds and RV parks near Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette, QC

Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette is a small Outaouais municipality on the eastern bank of the Lièvre River, less than an hour north of Gatineau and Ottawa. The village sits at the foot of forested hills, making it a practical base for RV travellers who want river and lake access without driving deep into the Laurentians. Route 309 follows the Lièvre corridor north out of town, giving direct road access to private campgrounds, the Outaouais sector of Réserve faunique de Papineau-Labelle, and a string of swimming lakes. The area mixes private RV parks with Sépaq-run sites farther up the valley. Camping au bord de l eau and Camping Ange Gardien serve travellers staying close to the village and the river. Camping Cantley sits closer to Gatineau for trips that combine city visits with nature. South across the Ottawa River, Rolling Hills Campground Ottawa and Tarmigan Camping give options for renters arriving from Ontario who want to stage a trip before heading north.

Private campgrounds around Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette, including Camping au bord de l eau, Camping Ange Gardien, and Camping Cantley, take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. For Sépaq sites in Réserve faunique de Papineau-Labelle, reservations are made through the sepaq.com camping portal, where availability can be searched by sector, dates, and party size. On arrival inside the reserve, visitors must register at a self-registration post; the Val-des-Bois, Gagnon, and Lac-Écho registration centres handle entry payments during the operating season. Have a backup site selected in case waterfront inventory is gone.
