Campgrounds and RV parks near Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly, QC

Route 132 and the local Chemin de Tilly trace the river through the village and make easy cycling and driving loops past ancestral farms. The Église Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly is a classified historical monument dating to the late 18th century, and the surrounding heritage core includes the Manoir de Tilly and a rare octagonal barn. Fromagerie Bergeron, a long-running Gouda producer, is in the village and sells directly to visitors. Les Fonds park at the foot of the village provides river access, picnic tables, and views of the St. Lawrence. Local ciders, ice ciders, and pick-your-own berry and apple farms operate along the river road in season. Day trips reach Old Quebec, Montmorency Falls, and Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier.

The active RV season in this part of Quebec is short. Most private campgrounds in the Chaudière-Appalaches and Quebec City area open in mid-May and close in mid-October, matching the frost-free window. The last spring frost at the nearby Jean Lesage station typically falls in early May and the first fall frost in early October, so shoulder-season nights can still drop below freezing. July and August are peak demand. The Quebec construction holiday in late July fills weekend sites well in advance, and August brings the New France Festival and Grands Feux fireworks to Quebec City. September brings cooler nights, fewer bugs, and the start of fall colour along the river. Spring snowmelt can cause high water at Montmorency Falls and muddy trails into May. Winter camping is not available at the listed private campgrounds; nearby Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier offers winter camping from mid-December to mid-March for travellers with appropriate gear.

French is the working language of the village and most private campgrounds in the area, though staff at the larger parks generally handle basic transactions in English. Roads into the lower village and along the river are narrow in places, so larger Class A rigs should stick to Route 132 and approach campgrounds from the main highway. Cell coverage is reliable along the corridor; site-level Wi-Fi varies. Black flies and mosquitoes are active from late May through early July, especially near wooded sites and the river. Quiet hours are enforced at family-oriented parks such as Camping Bernieres. Sani-dump stations are available at most full-service private campgrounds, and grocery, fuel, and propane stops cluster around Lévis and the Highway 20 interchanges.
