Campgrounds and RV parks near Saint-Aubert, QC

Saint-Aubert is a small municipality in the L'Islet RCM of Quebec's Chaudière-Appalaches region, set on plateaus and hills a few kilometres inland from the St. Lawrence River. It sits between Saint-Jean-Port-Joli and Saint-Damase-de-L'Islet, about 100 kilometres east of Quebec City. RV travellers use Saint-Aubert as a quiet base for Lac Trois Saumons and the south-shore coastline, with most serviced campgrounds clustered along Route 132 in the neighbouring villages. The closest options are in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, roughly five to ten minutes north. Camping Au Bonnet Rouge has 71 sites at 76 Avenue De Gaspé Est in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, with unserviced, two-service and three-service pitches and 30-amp electricity. Camping De La Demi-Lieue sits along the St. Lawrence and offers a heated pool, paddling pool, tennis courts, various playgrounds, minifarm and snack bar. Farther east, Camping Riviere-Ouelle and, across the river in Charlevoix, Camping Leclerc on Isle-aux-Coudres expand the rotation; Camping Pointe Aux Oies in Montmagny works as a westbound stop.

Most campgrounds in the area are privately operated and take direct bookings by phone or through their own websites, not through Sépaq or a national reservation system. Camping Rivière-Ouelle takes reservations all year round by telephone or online. Camping De La Demi-Lieue is part of the Réseau Camping Union and accepts bookings through its own platform. Camping Au Bonnet Rouge takes reservations by phone, and Camping Leclerc on Isle-aux-Coudres books direct as well. Riverfront sites and shaded RV pads at Demi-Lieue and Rivière-Ouelle fill quickly for July and August weekends, so book several months ahead. Low-season rebates are available at participating Camping Québec sites before June 4 and after September 14.
