Campgrounds and RV parks near Saint-Félix-de-Kingsey, QC

Saint-Félix-de-Kingsey sits in the Centre-du-Québec region between Montréal and Québec City, in the Drummond MRC. The municipality is small and rural, with lakes, sugar maple forest, and farmland that make it a practical base for RV travellers exploring central Québec and the Eastern Townships. Private, family-oriented campgrounds dominate the area. Camping Lac Des Cypres and Camping La Detente are the closest options, both offering serviced sites suited to RVs. Camping Plage Mckenzie and Camping de l'Ile sit a bit further out and add waterfront access. For travellers willing to drive south into the Eastern Townships, Lac Fraser - Mont Orford Provincial Park, operated by Sépaq inside Parc national du Mont-Orford, adds a national-park experience with serviced and unserviced sites in mature sugar-maple forest. Most private campgrounds operate from mid-May through mid-October. The Sépaq Lac-Fraser sector runs a shorter season, opening in mid to late June and closing in early September.

Private campgrounds in the Saint-Félix-de-Kingsey area, including Camping Lac Des Cypres, Camping La Detente, Camping Plage Mckenzie, and Camping de l'Ile, take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. Many are also listed on the Camping Québec and Bonjour Québec directories, which link to operator contact pages. Lac Fraser - Mont Orford Provincial Park is reserved through Sépaq, the Québec provincial park agency, at sepaq.com. Sépaq opens summer reservations for its national parks in early November of the prior year, so peak July and August weekends at Lac-Fraser are best secured well ahead. A separate park access fee applies on arrival. For July weekends and long weekends, booking eight to twelve weeks ahead is recommended at any campground in the area with lake or beach frontage.
