Campgrounds and RV parks near Saint-Honoré-de-Témiscouata, QC

Saint-Honoré-de-Témiscouata sits in the Témiscouata MRC of the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, on the inland route between Rivière-du-Loup and Edmundston, New Brunswick. The village is a waypoint on the Petit Témis Interprovincial Linear Park, a 134-kilometre rail-trail that links the two provinces and is open to cyclists and pedestrians in the warm months and snowmobiles in winter. The area pairs working farmland with lake country. Lac Témiscouata, the largest lake in the region, anchors a Sépaq national park about thirty minutes south, while smaller lakes and the Madawaska river system give nearby private campgrounds their shorelines. Local RV options closest to the village include Camping Temilac Inc and Camping Lido, with Camping Chez Jean, Camping Municipal Notre Dame Du Lac, and the Bas St. Laurent KOA Resort within easy driving distance. Most are seasonal, family-oriented sites with serviced pads, lake or river access, and a quieter pace than the busier St. Lawrence shoreline campgrounds to the north.

Private campgrounds in the area, including Camping Temilac Inc, Camping Lido, Camping Chez Jean, and Camping Municipal Notre Dame Du Lac, are booked directly by phone, email, or each operator's website. Most accept reservations from late winter onward for the May-to-October season and require a deposit at booking. The Bas St. Laurent KOA Resort can also be booked through the KOA reservation system online or by phone. For the surrounding Sépaq site, Parc national du Lac-Témiscouata, sites are reserved through the Sépaq reservation system at sepaq.com or by calling the park. A park access fee applies in addition to camping rates, and visitors must hold a daily access right or annual network card. Holiday weekends and the July-August peak fill earliest, so reserve as soon as your dates are firm.
