Campgrounds and RV parks near Saint-Rosaire, QC

Saint-Rosaire is a small parish municipality in the Centre-du-Québec region, sitting in the Arthabaska RCM between Victoriaville and the Bois-Francs farmland south of the St. Lawrence. The area is rural and lake-dotted, with most campgrounds clustered around small inland lakes and the river corridor north of town. RV travellers typically use Saint-Rosaire as a quiet, central base for exploring Centre-du-Québec and Mauricie, with Trois-Rivières and Quebec City both within easy driving range. The closest options sit within roughly half an hour to an hour by road. Camping Lac Des Cypres in Sainte-Séraphine offers lake access, a sandy beach with a waterslide, water games, kayaks and pedal boats, and serviced RV sites. Camping Mon Plaisir in Plessisville and Camping Lac Georges in Val-Alain round out the inland lake and family-campground options, while Camping Cap A La Roche sits on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River at Deschaillons-sur-Saint-Laurent with views of the seaway. Camping La Detente provides another family-oriented option in the surrounding Mauricie region.

Campgrounds around Saint-Rosaire are privately operated, so reservations go directly through each campground rather than a centralized provincial system. Most accept phone and email bookings, and operators such as Camping Lac Des Cypres, Camping Mon Plaisir and Camping Cap A La Roche have their own websites with reservation forms or contact details. Many properties are members of the Camping Québec association, which publishes verified listings for member campgrounds. For peak summer weekends, especially around the late-July Quebec construction holiday, booking eight to twelve weeks ahead is advisable. Seasonal sites take up a large share of inventory at family campgrounds in this region, so traveller (transient) RV spots can be limited, particularly for pull-throughs and larger rigs. Confirm hookup amperage, site length and pet policies at the time of booking.
