Campgrounds and RV parks near Sainte-Apolline-de-Patton, QC

Sainte-Apolline-de-Patton sits in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, in the highlands south of Montmagny and the St. Lawrence River. RV travellers use the village as a quiet base for the surrounding Appalachian foothills, with campgrounds split between inland lake settings inside the Parc régional des Appalaches and waterfront sites along the river plain. Closest to the village, Camping Municipal Lac Frontiere sits on the shore of Lac Frontière inside the regional park. The park is located in the Montmagny MRC, part of the larger Chaudière-Appalaches region, with multiple non-contiguous sectors. North toward the river, Camping Pointe Aux Oies in Montmagny is a large, fully serviced park on the St. Lawrence. Camping Au Bonnet Rouge and Camping De La Demi-Lieue near Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, along with Camping Lac-Etchemin in the Etchemins valley, round out the options, giving renters a mix of full-hookup family parks and rustic lakeside sites within roughly an hour's drive.

Most campgrounds in this area are independently operated and take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Many are members of the Camping Québec network, which standardizes star ratings and lists participating sites. Camping De La Demi-Lieue is part of the Réseau Camping Union and books through the operator. All visitors to Parc régional des Appalaches pay an entrance fee, and passes can be purchased before arrival; the park sells day, weekly, and annual passes. Backcountry stays, cabins, refuges, and rustic campsites within the park are reserved through the park's own booking system. Cottage and ready-to-camp units typically require a deposit at the time of reservation, with the balance taken before arrival, and many parks impose minimum-stay requirements on holiday weekends. Reserve serviced RV sites for July and August several months ahead, especially for waterfront pitches.
