Campgrounds and RV parks near Sainte-Edwidge-de-Clifton, QC

Sainte-Edwidge-de-Clifton is a small township municipality in Quebec's Eastern Townships, within the Coaticook Regional County Municipality. The surrounding landscape blends dairy farms, hardwood forest, and quiet back roads, with the town of Coaticook about 15 minutes west and Sherbrooke roughly 30 minutes north. RV travellers use the area as a base for the Coaticook Gorge, the Massawippi Lake region, and cross-border trips into northern Vermont and New Hampshire. Campground options range from family-oriented parks with full hookups to quieter rural sites. Camping du Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook anchors the area as a four-star campground inside the Coaticook Gorge park, with sites with or without services plus ready-to-camp units, alongside hiking, mountain biking, the Foresta Lumina night trail, and the longest suspended footbridge in North America. Camping de Compton sits on rolling agricultural land just north near the village of Compton. Smaller operators including Camping Coop Familiale Du Prevert and Camping Ile-Marie serve travellers looking for less crowded sites, and Ladd Pond Cabins And Campground offers an alternative just across the border in New Hampshire.

Most campgrounds in the Coaticook area are privately operated, so reservations go directly through each park rather than a single provincial portal. Camping du Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook accepts online and phone bookings, with windows already open well in advance of upcoming seasons; firewood and ice bags can be added to the reservation and picked up at a small shed next to the campground entrance. Camping de Compton also takes phone and online reservations and applies a non-refundable deposit per booking. For Quebec's national parks within driving distance, reservations run through SEPAQ, and for cross-border options such as Ladd Pond Cabins And Campground, book direct with the operator. For peak July and August weekends, reserve serviced RV sites as early as possible.
