Campgrounds and RV parks near Sainte-Félicité, QC

Sainte-Félicité sits on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River in the Gaspésie region of Quebec, within La Matanie regional county municipality. The village lies along Route 132, the highway that loops the Gaspé Peninsula, placing RV travellers between Matane to the east and Sainte-Flavie to the west. The area serves as a practical base for trips into the interior Chic-Chocs mountains and onward circumnavigation of the peninsula. Private riverside campgrounds operate along the coast, while the nearest large public sites sit inland in the Matapédia and Matane valleys. Camping Annie is the closest option to the village itself. Matane is the seat of La Matanie Regional County Municipality, and Camping De La Riviere Matane offers riverside sites there. Camping Causapscal chez Moose is set farther south in the Matapédia valley. For wildlife-reserve camping, the Lac Rimouski sector of Réserve faunique de Rimouski and the John sector of Réserve faunique de Matane are both within practical driving range. Parc national de la Gaspésie, which protects mountain landscapes and the Gaspésie caribou herd, is reachable for day trips and hiking.

Private campgrounds along the coast take direct bookings by phone or website and tend to fill from late June through mid-August. Reserving eight to twelve weeks ahead is advisable for riverside sites during the Quebec construction holiday in late July.
