Campgrounds and RV parks near Saints-Anges, QC

The area mixes Beauce farm country with riverfront recreation. Day trips reach historic Old Québec, the Miller Zoo, the Woodooliparc immersive attraction, and Beauce food producers, all within roughly an hour of Saints-Anges. Lac-Etchemin supports boating, swimming, road cycling, golf, and walking trails in season. Hikers head east to Parc régional du Massif du Sud in Saint-Philémon. Cyclists use the Véloroute de la Chaudière along the river, and anglers fish the Chaudière and Etchemin watersheds. Maple sugar shacks, microbreweries, cheese makers, and small museums in Sainte-Marie, Beauceville, and Saint-Georges round out a typical RV itinerary.

The Beauce camping season is short and concentrated. Most private campgrounds in the area open in mid-May and close in mid-October. Camping Parc De La Chaudiere typically runs from mid-May into October, and Camping Lac-Etchemin offers low-season discounts from mid-May to mid-June and again from early September to mid-October. Outside that window, sites are closed, water systems are winterized, and overnight RV parking in the region is limited. Late June through August is peak family season, with warm days, working pools, and full activity programming. Weekends around Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Canada Day, and the Quebec construction holiday in late July fill earliest, so popular waterfront sites should be booked weeks ahead. Ready-to-camp units at Camping Lac-Etchemin are sold only as Friday-to-Friday weekly rentals between mid-June and late August. September brings cooler nights, fewer bugs, fall colour along the Appalachian foothills, and noticeably easier reservations.

Expect compact, family-run campgrounds rather than large resort complexes. Sites generally offer a mix of full-service, two-service, and unserviced pitches, often on grass or gravel under mixed forest. Camping Parc De La Chaudiere has 178 sites, including roughly 80 set aside for short-term stays, and Camping La Roche Dor offers around 300 sites in the Beauce valley with 15, 30, and 50-amp electrical service. Heated pools, splash pads, playgrounds, and community halls are common. Amperage varies by site and campground, so large rigs with 50-amp needs should verify electrical service before booking. French is the working language at most campgrounds, though staff in the Quebec City corridor generally handle English. Cell coverage is reliable along Route 112 and thinner in the back ranges.
