Campgrounds and RV parks near St-Raymond, QC

St-Raymond sits in Quebec's Portneuf region, roughly 60 kilometres northwest of Quebec City and within easy reach of the Laurentian foothills. The town works well as a base for RV travellers who want forested, lake-and-river camping without driving deep into the backcountry, and it stays close enough to the city for day trips into Old Quebec. The nearest private campgrounds spread along the Sainte-Anne and Bras-du-Nord river corridors and toward the Valcartier area to the southeast. Camping Etsanha sits on the Bras-du-Nord river north of town and leans rustic, with a small number of serviced sites and no on-site dump station. Camping Panoramique is another option in the broader area for trailers and small motorhomes. Camping Valcartier and Valcartier Village Vacances sit next to the Village Vacances Valcartier water park, which is the largest in Canada and a strong draw for families. Camping Ville De Quebec rounds out the list as the closest full-service option for travellers who want to alternate camping with city sightseeing.

Private campgrounds in the St-Raymond area, including Camping Etsanha, Camping Panoramique, Camping Valcartier, Valcartier Village Vacances and Camping Ville De Quebec, accept reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Most require a deposit at the time of booking and apply minimum-stay rules of two or three nights on summer weekends and longer for holiday weeks. For camping inside Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, reservations go through Sépaq's central system at sepaq.com or by phone. Sépaq releases summer dates several months in advance, and the most desirable riverside sites and ready-to-camp units often sell out quickly after opening. A separate park-access fee applies on top of the campsite fee. RV travellers should confirm site length and hookup type when booking, since many sites in the region were built for tent and small-trailer use rather than large motorhomes.
