Campgrounds and RV parks near Stoke, QC

Stoke is a small municipality in the Estrie (Eastern Townships) region of southern Quebec, just north of Sherbrooke. Most RV travelers use it as a quiet base for exploring the lakes, hiking trails, and farm country between Sherbrooke, Magog, and the Vermont border. The terrain is rolling forested hills with the Saint-François River corridor running through the area. Close-in options sit within roughly a half-hour drive. Camping Ile-Marie and Camping Coop Familiale Du Prevert are among the nearest established campgrounds, both family-oriented private parks. Camping Lac Magog gives RV travelers lakefront access on the west side of Sherbrooke, while Camping de Compton sits in dairy and orchard country south of the city. Camping Beau-Soleil rounds out the local private options. For a fuller park experience, Parc national du Mont-Orford sits in the Eastern Townships tourist region immediately north of Magog, operated by Sépaq, with camping at Lac-Stukely and Lac-Fraser plus ready-to-camp units and cabins.

Sépaq handles all reservations for Parc national du Mont-Orford through sepaq.com, including campsites, ready-to-camp units, and cabins. The summer booking window opens in early November for the following season, spread across two days in different time slots by park, and popular waterfront sites at Lac-Stukely can sell out quickly when the window opens. A daily park access fee applies on top of the camping fee and can be purchased online up to thirty days before a visit. Private campgrounds in the Stoke and Sherbrooke area, including Camping Ile-Marie, Camping Coop Familiale Du Prevert, Camping de Compton, Camping Lac Magog, and Camping Beau-Soleil, are booked directly through each campground's own website or by phone. Many require a deposit and enforce minimum stays of two or three nights on summer weekends and holiday periods. Confirm rig length limits and hookup type before booking, since older Quebec parks often have tight, tree-lined sites.
