Campgrounds and RV parks near Kahkewistahaw 72, SK

Kahkewistahaw 72 sits in southeastern Saskatchewan along the Qu'Appelle Valley, roughly 20 kilometres north of Broadview via Highway 201. The reserve is the community of the Kahkewistahaw First Nation, signatories to Treaty 4, and the surrounding valley is one of the more scenic corners of the southern prairie. RV travellers using this area as a base can reach several established campgrounds within an easy drive. Crooked Lake Provincial Park is the closest full-service option, set in the Qu'Appelle Valley with lakeside sites, a service centre, walking trails, and a boat launch. Farther south near Kenosee Lake, Moose Mountain Provincial Park is a much larger operation with hundreds of treed sites spread across multiple loops and three service centres. Smaller options round out the choices. Carlyle Lions Club and Fieldstone Campground and RV Resort serve travellers in the Carlyle area, while South Katepwa RV Park sits farther west along the Qu'Appelle chain. The mix suits both short overnights and week-long lake stays.
