Campgrounds and RV parks near McKillop No. 220, SK

McKillop No. 220 is a rural municipality on the east shore of Last Mountain Lake in south-central Saskatchewan, roughly 40 kilometres northwest of Regina. Last Mountain Lake, also known as Long Lake, is the largest natural freshwater lake in southern Saskatchewan, stretching approximately 93 kilometres in length and 3 kilometres in width at its maximum, located roughly 40 kilometres northwest of Regina, and was formed approximately 11,000 years ago during glacial retreat. The lake anchors most of the camping options RV travellers will consider in this area. The closest full-service campground is Rowan's Ravine Provincial Park, sitting directly on the eastern shore of the lake. Rowan's Ravine is approximately 50 minutes northwest of Regina near Strasbourg, offers two campground areas, Underwood and Elmwood, and features 30-amp and 50-amp electrical hookups, full water hookups, dump stations, and pull-through sites. Farther afield, Last Mountain Regional Park sits along the lake shore closer to Regina Beach, while Buffalo Pound Provincial Park lies about an hour southwest in the Qu'Appelle Valley. Smaller options round out the area. The Happy Camper Campground RV and Lumsden Riverpark Campground serve travellers moving between Regina and the lake, giving RV renters a range of hookup levels within a short drive of McKillop No. 220.
