Campgrounds and RV parks near Peepeekisis 81, SK

Peepeekisis Cree Nation No. 81 sits on the north edge of the Qu'Appelle Valley in southeastern Saskatchewan, about 90 minutes northeast of Regina. The surrounding valley holds a chain of lakes (Pasqua, Echo, Mission, Katepwa, and Crooked) that anchor most of the region's RV camping. The terrain is a mix of open prairie above the valley rim and wooded coulees along the lakeshores. Echo Valley Provincial Park sits between Echo and Pasqua Lakes in the Qu'Appelle Valley and offers two beaches and access to two lakes, making it a common base for fishing and beach days. South Katepwa RV Park serves campers heading to Katepwa Lake at the east end of the valley, while Crooked Lake Provincial Park sits along the north shore of Crooked Lake in the Qu'Appelle Valley, with access from Highway 247. Farther north, Good Spirit Lake Provincial Park is located 30 minutes northwest of Yorkton and offers fishing, swimming, and beach amenities. Comfort Plus Campground rounds out the private options for RV travellers who want serviced sites closer to town amenities.

Saskatchewan provincial park sites, including Echo Valley, Crooked Lake, and Good Spirit Lake, are booked through the provincial reservation system at parks.saskatchewan.ca. Reservations can be made up to two camping seasons in advance for group camping, recreation halls, and picnic shelters, while all other camping may only be reserved for the current camping season. A valid vehicle entry permit is required for all vehicles while in a provincial park, can be purchased in advance at parks.saskatchewan.ca, and must be carried or displayed as a digital or printed copy on arrival. Individual campsite openings for the summer are released on set dates in early spring, and popular lakeside loops can sell out quickly. Private options such as South Katepwa RV Park and Comfort Plus Campground are booked directly with the operator and often have more late-notice availability than the provincial parks.
