Campgrounds and RV parks near Rosedale No. 283, SK

The Rural Municipality of Rosedale No. 283 sits in central Saskatchewan along Highway 11, roughly midway between Saskatoon and Regina, with the town of Hanley as its service hub. The RM is prairie farmland, so most RV camping happens at provincial parks and lake-based recreation sites within a short drive. Blackstrap Provincial Park is the closest full-service provincial park, located about 8.5 kilometres east of Dundurn via Highway 211 and roughly a 35-minute drive south of Saskatoon. It sits along the eastern shore of Blackstrap Lake, a man-made reservoir, and takes its name from Mount Blackstrap, a man-made hill that rises 45 metres above the surrounding prairie. Danielson Provincial Park sits southwest on Lake Diefenbaker near Gardiner Dam, while Pike Lake Provincial Park lies southwest of Saskatoon on a South Saskatchewan River oxbow. The system opens at 7:00 a.m. CST each day. A valid vehicle entry permit is required for every vehicle in a provincial park, and can be bought in advance online.
