Campgrounds and RV parks near East Milton, FL

East Milton sits in Santa Rosa County on Florida's western Panhandle, roughly 20 minutes east of Pensacola and within a short drive of Navarre Beach and the Gulf Coast. The area serves as a practical base for RV travelers combining beach days with freshwater paddling on the Blackwater and Coldwater river systems, both of which flow through the vast Blackwater River State Forest just north of town. Private RV parks close to East Milton lean family-oriented and offer full hookups with I-10 access. Pelican Palms RV Resort provides pull-through sites, a pool, playground, dog park, and cabin rentals. Splash RV Resort & Waterpark adds an on-site waterpark with a lazy river, waterslides, and heated pools alongside full-hookup RV sites and cottage rentals. Milton / Gulf Pines KOA Holiday sits among tall pines with the standard KOA mix of RV sites and cabins. Avalon Landing RV Park and Adventures Unlimited round out the options, the latter offering primitive and hookup sites on Coldwater Creek paired with canoe, kayak, tube, and zipline outfitting.

Blackwater River State Park uses the Florida State Parks reservation system. Florida residents may book campsites up to 11 months in advance; non-residents may book up to 10 months in advance. Reservations go through the Florida State Parks website or by phone, and any sites not reserved are offered to walk-in visitors on a first-come, first-served basis. Florida residents booking at the 11-month window must provide a valid Florida driver's license or state ID at the time of booking. Private parks including Pelican Palms RV Resort, Splash RV Resort & Waterpark, Milton / Gulf Pines KOA Holiday, and Avalon Landing RV Park book directly through their own websites or by phone. Adventures Unlimited handles camping, cabin, and river-trip reservations through its own booking system. For holiday weekends and snowbird months, reserve several months out.
