Campgrounds and RV parks near Jennings, FL

Jennings sits in Hamilton County in Florida's Big Bend region, immediately south of the Georgia state line and directly on Interstate 75. Jennings KOA Holiday is the first campground travelers reach after crossing into Florida at Exit 467, roughly 20 minutes from Wild Adventures Theme Park and 20 minutes from Valdosta, Georgia. That location makes the town a common overnight stop for RVers driving between the Southeast and central Florida. RV options within a short drive include Jennings KOA Holiday, Eagles Roost Campground and RV, and Lake Park RV Campground, which serve travelers looking for full-hookup pull-throughs close to the interstate. For a more natural setting, Suwannee River State Park lies to the south along US Highway 90, and Wild Adventures Safari Campground sits just across the state line near Valdosta. The area works well as either a single-night stopover or a multi-day base for exploring the Suwannee River, area springs, and the Wild Adventures theme park.

Private parks in the Jennings area, including Jennings KOA Holiday, Eagles Roost Campground and RV, Lake Park RV Campground, and Wild Adventures Safari Campground, take reservations directly through each property's website or by phone. KOA sites can also be booked through the KOA reservation system and rewards program. Suwannee River State Park is part of the Florida State Parks system. Sites are reservable through the Florida State Parks reservations website or ReserveAmerica, or by calling 800-326-3521. Note that the campground at Suwannee River State Park is currently closed to reservations and walk-ins due to a campground upgrade project, with cabin walk-ins only being accepted, so check current status on the Florida State Parks website before planning. Winter and holiday weekends fill fastest, so book several weeks or months ahead when possible.
