Campgrounds and RV parks near Navarre Beach, FL

Navarre Beach sits on Santa Rosa Island in Florida's Panhandle, between Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach along Highway 98. The area is known for a long stretch of white sand, the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier, and Santa Rosa Sound, which offers calmer water for kayaking, paddleboarding, and family swimming, with many local RV parks fronting the sound directly. Most RV options cluster on the mainland side of the sound in Navarre and Holley, a short drive from the beach causeway. Santa Rosa RV Resort, Emerald Beach RV Park, Holley Navarre RV Park, The Hideaway Retreat, and Pelican Palms RV Resort make up the closest full-hookup choices for renters. Most campgrounds in the area accommodate both RV and tent camping, with several properties also offering cabin rentals for those seeking more amenities without a personal camping setup. For a public-lands night, Fort Pickens Campground is situated on Santa Rosa Island, part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore south of Pensacola and Gulf Breeze, and books through Recreation.gov. Blackwater River State Forest sits about thirty minutes inland for a more rustic option.

Private parks handle their own reservations directly through their websites or by phone. Santa Rosa RV Resort, Emerald Beach RV Park, Holley Navarre RV Park, The Hideaway Retreat, and Pelican Palms RV Resort each book independently, and waterfront sites on Santa Rosa Sound sell out first for spring break, summer weekends, and Blue Angels air show dates. For federal sites, Fort Pickens Campground books through Recreation.gov on a six-month rolling window, and Gulf-view loops go quickly. A park entrance fee for Gulf Islands National Seashore applies in addition to the campground fee. Snowbird stays of a month or longer are common at the sound-side resorts and should be arranged well in advance, often a season or more ahead. Confirm rig length limits, slide-out clearance, and any pet fees with the host before booking.
