Ryan was great! His RV was clean and had everything we needed and more! He was great to work with. Would definitely rent again!

This was a great first time RV rental for us. Everything was as advertised, everything worked as it should and the RV was completely outfitted for everything you need. Ryan and Nicole were gracious hosts who explained everything about the RV. Setup was straightforward and we were relaxing in no time.

We had a fantastic time. Went to Tuscaloosa and Talledaga with 5 people. Tanya/David provided us a cooler, chairs, table, and everything else we needed. We didnt need anything fancy in the RV so this was perfect for us. They were responsive to anything we asked. Would definitely boon again!

Lukas S. - Oct 2025

Man David and Tanya really came through….. everything was more than I could’ve asked for. Everything I needed was there and more. I’ve read the other reviews for this RV and I don’t know what people were expecting to get for $961 for 4 days but for me it was better than the pictures. You wanna be fancy go spend $3000 somewhere else where you’re expectations can be met lol

Frequently asked questions about campgrounds near Atlanta, GA

What does it cost to rent an RV in Atlanta, and are there ways to save on my rental?

Atlanta RV rentals are surprisingly affordable. You'll find travel trailers starting as low as $65 per night, with fully equipped motorhomes from about $120 to $250 per night. Rates can climb during summer and around big events (like SEC Championship football or Music Midtown), so booking early locks in value. Flexible pick-up dates or choosing a spot just outside downtown can land you a cheap RV rental in Atlanta. Many RVezy listings also offer discounts on longer rentals. Pro tip: Shoulder seasons (late March to early May or September to early November) generally mean lower prices and milder weather, so you can enjoy Atlanta's best parks without the crowds.

Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Georgia?

You're good to go. A regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Atlanta or anywhere in Georgia. No special endorsements or commercial licenses (CDLs) required for standard RVs under 26,000 lbs. As long as you're 25 years or older, just upload your valid license during booking to get rolling. Renting an RV for the first time is easier than most people expect; you'll have your wheels and your adventure ready in no time.

What is RVezy's cancellation policy for RV rentals in Atlanta?

You can book with confidence. If you cancel within 24 hours of the host accepting your booking and your payment is made, and it's more than 24 hours before your trip start, you get a full refund. After that, refunds depend on when you cancel: more than 30 days before the trip you only forfeit the service fee; between 30 and 8 days you forfeit 50% of the rental amount; 7 days or less you forfeit the full rental amount. Protection plan, delivery, add-ons and their taxes are always refunded when you cancel. If the host cancels, you receive a full refund with no penalties. This is perfect for first-timers or anyone heading to spots like Lake Lanier or Atlanta Motor Speedway. Just select "Delivery" when browsing, pick your spot, and show up ready to camp.

Popular RV road trips from Atlanta include cruising down to the Golden Isles, heading north to the Blue Ridge Mountains, or a family weekend at Lake Hartwell. How far in advance should I book Atlanta campgrounds during RV season?

Book early for Atlanta's popular campgrounds. Securing your spot 2 to 4 months ahead guarantees your pick of weekends, especially at Stone Mountain or state parks like Red Top Mountain. Georgia State Parks use ReserveAmerica or the GA State Parks site for easy online booking. For city-near RV parks (like Atlanta Marietta), direct call-ins work best. Last-minute sites pop up in off season, but for spring and fall, planning ahead means you always camp where you want.

Is driving an RV in Atlanta traffic difficult?

Atlanta's highways can get crowded, but most RV renters find it easier than expected. Avoid rush hours (7 to 9 am and 4 to 6:30 pm on weekdays), plan for highway driving, and use side streets for slower scenic routes. Concerned about city driving? Many hosts offer RV delivery, so you can skip the traffic and enjoy your RV at a local campground or event. Most Atlanta roads are RV-friendly, but always double-check height clearances near downtown.
