Campgrounds and RV parks near Colquitt, GA

Colquitt sits in Miller County in southwest Georgia, within easy RV driving distance of the Chattahoochee and Flint River systems and the Alabama and Florida state lines. The area is rural, flat, and heavily wooded with longleaf pine, pecan groves, and cypress-lined creeks, and campgrounds here tend to fall into two categories: privately owned RV parks with full hookups, and state-park campgrounds built around lakes and rivers. Close-in options include Koi RV Resort and Flint River RV Park, both convenient for travelers using Colquitt as a base or an overnight stop off US-27. For a more outdoor-focused stay, Seminole State Park sits on the shores of Lake Seminole in the extreme southwest corner of Georgia, and Kolomoki Mounds Historic Park lies just north near Blakely. Omussee Creek RV Park, across the Alabama line on the Chattahoochee, adds another river-camping option within roughly an hour's drive. Together these sites cover the range most RV renters want: quick hookup stops, lakefront pads, and quieter woodland loops.

Georgia state parks, including Seminole State Park and Kolomoki Mounds Historic Park, use the Georgia State Parks reservation system. Sites can be booked online or by phone, typically up to thirteen months in advance, and holiday weekends and cool-weather months fill first. A ParkPass is required for day-use parking at most Georgia state parks. Omussee Creek RV Park is operated by Houston County, Alabama, and reservations for its Chattahoochee River sites are handled through the county parks office. Privately run parks like Koi RV Resort and Flint River RV Park take reservations directly, by phone or through their own websites, and generally offer more flexibility for short-notice stays than the state parks.
