Campgrounds and RV parks near Robie Creek, ID

Robie Creek sits in the foothills northeast of Boise, at the confluence of Mores Creek and Robie Creek on the edge of the Boise National Forest. The area is part of the Lucky Peak Lake recreation area managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, located about 12 miles from Boise via Highway 21. The community itself has no full-service RV park, so most travelers base out of parks in the Boise and Meridian corridor and drive up Highway 21 for day trips. Closest to the area is Mountain View RV Park, followed by Boise Riverside RV Park along the Boise River greenbelt. Farther out in the Treasure Valley, Hi-Valley RV Park and the Boise / Meridian KOA Journey serve as practical staging points with full hookups, laundry, and easy interstate access. Roystone Hot Springs, north of the valley, offers a soaking-pool option for travelers willing to drive further. Lucky Peak Lake sits in the foothills of southwestern Idaho on the Boise River at an elevation of 3,055 feet, and when full stretches 12 miles up-river with 45 miles of shoreline. The lake, Arrowrock Reservoir, and the surrounding national forest are the main draws for anyone camping in the area.

Corps of Engineers sites on Lucky Peak Lake are booked through Recreation.gov. Advance reservations are required for all sites at Macks Creek, with check-out at 11:00 am and check-in beginning at noon. The Robie Creek Park group shelter is reservable via Recreation.gov as a day-use facility, with check-in at 9:00 am and check-out at 9:00 pm the same day. Private RV parks in the Boise corridor, including Mountain View RV Park, Boise Riverside RV Park, Hi-Valley RV Park, and the Boise / Meridian KOA Journey, book directly through their own websites or the KOA app. Summer weekends and event dates in Boise fill fast, so reserve full-hookup sites several weeks ahead. There is no cellular service in Robie Creek Park; an assistance phone is available for emergencies.
