The village is a practical base for RV trips into the Chain O' Lakes region, one of the largest concentrations of natural lakes in the state, with public and private campgrounds clustered within a short drive north and east. The closest full-service private options include Fish Lake Beach Camping Resort in nearby Volo, which offers RV sites on a private lake with a heated pool, beach, hot tub, and weekend programming. For state-park camping, Chain O' Lakes State Park sits just north near Spring Grove and runs several loops including Turner Lake South. Across the Wisconsin line, the Kenosha County Fair Association grounds add another nearby overnight option for RV travelers heading up US-45 or I-94.
