Campgrounds and RV parks near Marshall, IL

Marshall sits in Clark County in east-central Illinois, just west of the Indiana border and roughly 2 miles north of Lincoln Trail State Park, west of Illinois Route 1. The town serves as a practical base for RV travelers heading to two nearby lake-based parks: Lincoln Trail State Park to the south and Mill Creek Park to the northwest. Lincoln Trail State Park covers 1,023 acres in Clark County and centers on Lincoln Trail Lake, an American Beech woods setting known for unusual wildflowers including squaw-root and beech drops. Camping is split between two Class A areas, Plainview - Lincoln Trail State Park and Lakeside - Lincoln Trail State Park, both with electricity, showers, water, and a sanitary dumping station. Mill Creek Park is a county-run recreation area located 7 miles northwest of Marshall on the Lincoln Heritage Trail Road, covering 2,600 acres of land with 811 acres of water and a 300-acre OHV park.
