Campgrounds and RV parks near Kewanna, IN

Kewanna sits in Fulton County in north-central Indiana, within a short drive of the Tippecanoe River and a cluster of small lakes that anchor the region's camping options. The town is rural, surrounded by farmland and mixed hardwood woodlots, and serves as a practical base for RV travelers touring the Tippecanoe River corridor, Winamac, and the Manitou Lake area. Most nearby campgrounds fall into two categories: state-run sites inside Tippecanoe River State Park, and privately owned parks along the river and surrounding lakes. Tippecanoe River Run and Horsemens Camp - Tippecanoe River State Park sit closest to the water, while Rising Sun Campground, Tall Sycamore Campgrounds, and Lakeview Campground round out the private options with a mix of full-hookup and partial-hookup sites. Road access is straightforward via US-35 and State Road 14, and most nearby parks accommodate travel trailers, fifth wheels, and Class A motorhomes. RV renters should confirm site length limits before booking, as some wooded loops favor shorter rigs.

Sites inside Tippecanoe River State Park, including Horsemens Camp - Tippecanoe River State Park, are reserved through the Indiana State Parks reservation system operated by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources on the ReserveAmerica platform. The booking window opens six months in advance on a rolling daily basis, and summer weekend sites should be booked as early as that window allows. Private parks such as Tippecanoe River Run, Rising Sun Campground, Tall Sycamore Campgrounds, and Lakeview Campground take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. Policies vary on deposits, cancellation windows, and minimum stays for holiday weekends, so confirm before travel. For RV renters, ask specifically about site length, hookup amps, and whether the access road and pad are gravel or paved.
