Campgrounds and RV parks near Bromley, KY

Bromley sits on the Kentucky bank of the Ohio River, directly across from downtown Cincinnati and adjacent to Covington. For RV travelers, it functions as a base for exploring the greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky metro while keeping quick access to I-71 and I-75. The closest campgrounds are a mix of private RV parks and one state historic site. Cincinnati Campsites, Tuckers Landing RV Park, and Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage offer private-park amenities near the urban core. Oak Creek RV Resort and Campground sits about a half hour south off I-75 in Verona, with roughly 100 gravel sites, a seasonal pool, playground, and dog park, and year-round spaces are available. Big Bone Lick State Park, about 25 miles southwest, adds a public option with 62 utility sites, a central bathhouse with showers and laundry, a basic camp store, and a resident bison herd. Most trips here combine Cincinnati attractions such as the zoo, Newport Aquarium, and Great American Ball Park with Northern Kentucky day trips to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.

Big Bone Lick State Park uses the Kentucky State Parks reservation system through ReserveAmerica. Reservations must be made at least one day ahead of arrival and can be placed up to twelve months in advance to the date, with new inventory made available when the call center opens. Some sites may be held for first-come, first-served walk-ups at the campground. Private parks in the area, including Cincinnati Campsites, Tuckers Landing RV Park, Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage, and Oak Creek RV Resort and Campground, take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. For summer weekends, holidays, and fall-color dates, book six to eight weeks out to get a preferred site and hookup level.
