Campgrounds and RV parks near Lakeside Park, KY

Lakeside Park is a small residential city in Kenton County, Kentucky, just south of Covington and roughly ten minutes from downtown Cincinnati by way of I-71/75. RV travelers use the area as a base for the Cincinnati metro on the Ohio side and the rolling farmland, distilleries, and Ohio River towns on the Kentucky side. The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport sits a short drive west, so weather patterns and travel logistics mirror greater Cincinnati. Camping options split between urban RV parks close to the river and larger public and private grounds further out. Tuckers Landing RV Park is a full-hookup riverfront option a short drive across the Ohio line on Kellogg Avenue. Cincinnati Campsites sits inside the city on the north side, and Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage in the Reading area is a year-round park oriented toward longer stays. Southwest of Lakeside Park, Oak Creek RV Resort and Campground in Verona offers wooded family sites off I-75, and Big Bone Lick State Park in Union adds a Kentucky State Parks campground with a bison herd, trails, and salt-spring history.

Kentucky State Parks handles Big Bone Lick State Historic Site reservations through its central system, online or by phone. Sites can be booked up to twelve months in advance, with a minimum lead time of one day before arrival, and a site can hold up to eight occupants with a limit of four adults. Private parks, including Tuckers Landing RV Park, Cincinnati Campsites, Oak Creek RV Resort and Campground, and Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage, take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. Summer weekends and event dates in Cincinnati book out weeks in advance, so lock in dates early and confirm rig length limits, big-rig access, and whether sewer hookups are available at the specific site.
