Campgrounds and RV parks near Mangham, LA

Mangham is a small village in Richland Parish in northeast Louisiana, roughly midway between Monroe and the Mississippi River. RV travelers typically use it as a quiet base for the Ouachita River corridor, the Poverty Point archaeological region, and the reservoirs east of Interstate 20. Terrain is flat Delta farmland with pine and hardwood pockets, so most sites are level and easy to back into. The closest RV options cluster along the I-20 corridor a short drive north. Ouachita RV Park and Delhi RV Park sit near the interstate for straightforward access, while The Fishing Camp Tackle & RV Park caters to anglers heading for local lakes and bayous. Ouachita Sportsplex adds RV hookups tied to a sports complex, useful for families traveling with tournament schedules. For a full state-park experience, Poverty Point Reservoir State Park sits in northern Louisiana just outside the town of Delhi, offering waterfront camping, cabins, and lake access within about a 20-minute drive of Mangham.

State-park sites at Poverty Point Reservoir are booked through the Louisiana State Parks system. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the arrival date and can be made up to 13 months in advance, online or by calling the Call Center at 1-833-609-0686. A non-refundable fee is assessed on each reservation transaction made online, via phone, or as a walk-in. An advance deposit of a single night's stay is required for each facility reserved in advance and must be received within ten days of the date of the request or the reservation will be canceled. For reservations made 10 to 13 months prior to the arrival date, the entire reservation balance must be received within 30 days of the date of the request. Private parks such as Ouachita RV Park, Delhi RV Park, Ouachita Sportsplex, and The Fishing Camp Tackle & RV Park generally take direct phone or online bookings. Weekends during fishing tournaments and youth sports events fill first, so book several weeks out for peak dates.
