Camping near Baroda, Michigan
Baroda is a small village in Berrien County, in southwest Michigan's wine and orchard country, roughly a ten-minute drive from the Lake Michigan shoreline. The area sits within the Harbor Country corridor between St. Joseph and the Indiana border, and campers use it as a base for beaches, dunes, wineries, and the St. Joseph River.
The closest developed campground to the village is Weko Beach Campground in Bridgman, a municipal park with 68 campsites and rustic cabins spread across 42 acres of wooded dunes on Lake Michigan. Immediately south, Warren Dunes State Park anchors the region with 1,952 acres of shoreline, dunes, and two campgrounds run by the Michigan DNR.
Inland options include Fullers Resort and Campground on Clear Lake for lake-focused stays, Bear Cave RV Campground on the St. Joseph River in Buchanan, and Eden Springs Park at the House of David in Benton Harbor, a year-round RV park on the grounds of a historic religious colony.
Things to do around Baroda
Lake Michigan is the main draw. Warren Dunes State Park offers three miles of sandy shoreline, six miles of hiking trails, and a dune formation that rises 260 feet above the lake, popular for climbing, sandboarding, and permitted hang gliding. Weko Beach Campground adds a Lake Michigan swim beach, kayak and paddleboard rentals, and a small-craft boat launch.
Baroda itself sits in southwest Michigan wine country, with tasting rooms, fruit farms, and cider mills within a short drive. Families also head to Silver Beach in St. Joseph for the carousel and Children's Museum.
Inland, the St. Joseph River near Bear Cave RV Campground is used for fishing, kayaking, and canoeing, and Eden Springs Park at the House of David runs a restored miniature train on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Eden Springs Park at the House of David offers roughly 42 full-hookup RV sites, most pull-through, shaded by mature trees.
