Campgrounds and RV parks near Bellevue, MI

Bellevue sits in Eaton County in south-central Michigan, roughly halfway between Lansing and Battle Creek and within a short drive of Kalamazoo. The area is rural and agricultural, dotted with small inland lakes, rivers, and hardwood woodlots, which makes it a practical base for RV travelers exploring the lower peninsula without committing to a longer drive north. RV renters have a mix of private RV parks and nearby state and county campgrounds to choose from. Close-in private options include TTCM Bellevue Campground, Camp Turkeyville RV Resort, Camp Thornapple Inc, Rockey's Campground, and Winding Creek Camp. These properties tend to offer water and electric hookups, dump stations, and family-oriented amenities such as pools, playgrounds, and organized weekend events. For renters who want state-park amenities, Fort Custer Recreation Area near Augusta and Yankee Springs Recreation Area to the west are within a reasonable drive and are managed by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

Private parks in the Bellevue area take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. Some, such as TTCM Bellevue Campground, assign specific sites at check-in rather than at the time of booking, so RV renters should confirm rig length, slide-outs, and hookup needs when reserving to make sure an appropriate site is available. For state-managed campgrounds at Fort Custer, Yankee Springs, and other nearby recreation areas, reservations go through MiDNRReservations.com on a rolling six-month window. Popular summer weekends often book the moment the window opens. A Michigan Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry to state parks and can be added to a Michigan plate at registration or purchased at the gate.
