Campgrounds and RV parks near Crystal Springs, MS

Crystal Springs sits in Copiah County along Interstate 55, roughly 24 miles south of Jackson and within easy reach of both Mississippi state parks and the Natchez Trace Parkway. The town's central location on I-55 makes it a practical hub for RV travelers moving between the capital region and the coast, with paved highway approaches to every campground listed below. The closest option, Lake Lincoln State Park, sits in the northeast corner of Lincoln County with easy access from Interstate 55, U.S. Highway 51, and State Highway 27. Wendy Oaks RV Resort and Lincoln Civic Center RV Park serve travelers who want full-hookup private-park amenities close to the interstate. Farther out, Le Fleurs Bluff State Park offers a wooded 305-acre campground inside Jackson's city limits along the Pearl River, while Rocky Springs Campground on the Natchez Trace Parkway provides a free, primitive National Park Service option about an hour southwest. Together the five properties cover a full range from developed hookup sites to no-frills federal camping.

Mississippi state parks, including Lake Lincoln and Le Fleurs Bluff, use the state's MDWFP reservation portal. On the current park detail pages, reservations must be made two days ahead of arrival and can be made up to 24 months in advance, and the minimum age to make a reservation is 21 years. Lake Lincoln also offers 14 primitive camping sites on a first-come, first-served basis with a short walk to the bath house and no water at the sites. Rocky Springs works differently. The campground does not offer reservations through Recreation.gov; sites are on a first come, first served basis, with no reservations. Private options such as Wendy Oaks RV Resort and Lincoln Civic Center RV Park take direct bookings by phone or through their websites. For holiday weekends, book state park sites several months out.
