Campgrounds and RV parks near North Tunica, MS

North Tunica sits in the Mississippi Delta about 30 miles south of Memphis, along the Mississippi River and near the state's cluster of casino resorts. The area is flat farmland cut by levees, with the river forming the western boundary and Arkansas directly across. Most RV options here are casino-run parks, which trade scenery for full hookups, paved pads, and walking access to hotels, restaurants, and gaming floors. Hollywood Casino Hotel and RV Park, Sams Town Gambling Hall RV Park, and Isle Of Capri Casino RV Park are the closest choices, all built around the Robinsonville and Tunica Resorts strip. For a more natural setting, Storm Creek Lake Recreational Area and Lone Pine - Mississippi River State Park lie about half an hour west across the river inside the St. Francis National Forest, offering lakeside sites, hiking, and quiet forest camping. The mix makes North Tunica a practical hub: RVers can base at a casino park for hookups and shuttle service, then day-trip to Memphis, the Delta blues trail, or the Arkansas state park across the river.

Casino RV parks in the Tunica area are booked directly with the property. Hollywood Casino Hotel and RV Park takes reservations by phone, with check-in handled at the hotel front desk rather than a separate campground office. Sams Town Gambling Hall RV Park and Isle Of Capri Casino RV Park follow a similar model, and players-club members often receive priority or comped stays. Across the river, Mississippi River State Park was created inside the St. Francis National Forest through a partnership between the U.S. Forest Service and Arkansas State Parks in 1999. Storm Creek Lake Recreational Area and the Lone Pine campground are both managed by Mississippi River State Park. Storm Creek Lake has 11 full-hookup sites plus 5 camper cabins, while Lone Pine has 14 primitive sites near the lake without hookups. Reservations can be made online through the Arkansas State Parks system or by telephone with the park office.
