Campgrounds and RV parks near Blasdell, NY

Blasdell sits just south of Buffalo along Lake Erie in Erie County, putting RV travelers within easy reach of the Southtowns, downtown Buffalo, and the Niagara Frontier. The village is a practical base for families: Interstate 90 runs alongside it, Woodlawn Beach State Park is minutes away on the Lake Erie shore, and Niagara Falls is roughly a half-hour drive north. Full-service RV parks in the immediate area are limited, so most renters build their trip around campgrounds in the wider Buffalo-Niagara corridor. Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA Holiday and Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort both sit on Grand Island between Buffalo and the Falls, offering resort-style amenities within a short drive of the American side. Riverside Park Motel and Campground and AA Royal Motel and Campground offer smaller, motel-adjacent RV setups useful for shorter stays. Across the Peace Bridge in Ontario, Windmill Point Park near Fort Erie draws Buffalo-area campers with its spring-fed quarry and lakeside sites. A passport or equivalent travel document is required for the border crossing.

Private parks in the area handle their own reservations. Windmill Point Park, Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort, and Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA Holiday all take bookings directly through their websites, with KOA also offering booking through the KOA app. Riverside Park Motel and Campground and AA Royal Motel and Campground take bookings by phone or through their own sites. Summer weekends and holiday periods sell out first, so lock in dates as early as the calendar opens. New York State Park campgrounds use ReserveAmerica. Sites can be booked up to nine months ahead, same-day reservations are accepted until 3 p.m. on the day of arrival, and cabins, cottages, and yurts can be reserved up to one day before arrival. For cross-border trips to Windmill Point Park, bring a passport, enhanced driver's license, or NEXUS card for every traveler.
