Campgrounds and RV parks near Eggertsville, NY

Eggertsville is a hamlet in the Town of Amherst just north of Buffalo, roughly a twenty-minute drive from the Peace Bridge and about thirty minutes from Niagara Falls. RV travellers use it as a base for exploring Western New York without paying downtown Buffalo prices, and most campgrounds cluster on Grand Island and along the Niagara River corridor to the north and west. Options range from full-service resorts to no-frills roadside stops. Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort and Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA Holiday sit on Grand Island between Buffalo and the Falls, both offering big-rig sites and heavy family programming. AA Royal Motel and Campground, Cinderella Motel and Campsite, and Niagara Falls Campground and Lodging are smaller, closer to the Falls, and geared to shorter stays. Beaver Island State Park on Grand Island is a popular day-use park with a beach, marina, and trails, but it does not offer overnight camping. Nearly every campground option is within a short highway drive of Eggertsville via I-290 and I-190.

Private parks including Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort, Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA Holiday, AA Royal Motel and Campground, Cinderella Motel and Campsite, and Niagara Falls Campground and Lodging take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. The KOA also books through the koa.com reservation system, and Branches of Niagara books through its operator site. Beaver Island State Park does not offer overnight camping, so the nearest public reservable campgrounds sit farther out and book through the New York State Parks ReserveAmerica portal, either online or by phone at 1-800-456-CAMP. That reservation window opens up to nine months in advance, and summer weekends fill quickly once the window opens. For Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Falls fireworks weekends, book as early as the window allows and confirm rig-length and hookup requirements before paying.
